The Braund Society

The society was founded by Cyril John Braund in 1982 and now enjoys a worldwide membership whose centre of activity is the small fishing village of Bucks Mills on the coastline of North Devon.
An excellent quarterly magazine is included in the membership subscription
An annual Xmas dinner takes place at one of the North Devon towns
The year 2002 saw the 20th anniversary held at Bucks Mills where various enactments took place and a church service were amongst various other entertainments.
Those who visited the area during the anniversary proceedings enjoyed the spectacle of the period costume worn by many of the society members
